Renewing 400 Years Old Roof
Recently completed work on a very old listed roof, with LPC dating back over 400 years. Some incredible original timber was still in place, showing true craftsmanship from the past.
The roof joists had been replaced back in the 1960s, so we carefully matched and replicated what was there, keeping everything in line with the existing structure. The job included renewing the timber battens and felt, along with re-bedding and setting the ridge and eaves.
A real pleasure to work on such a historic property.
